1. How do I place an order for a custom guitar?

Custom orders start with a conversation.

Visit the Custom Build page and get in touch with your ideas. You do not need to have every detail decided in advance. Once we establish the direction of the guitar, I’ll prepare a complete build sheet with the specifications, final price and payment schedule.

Custom builds currently start at $2,999.

2. What is the lead time for a custom build?

The current lead time is approximately 18 months from the date of deposit.

Every Earthly Guitar is built individually by hand. Lead times can vary slightly depending on the complexity of the instrument and current workload.

3. How does payment work for a custom build?

A 25% deposit is required to confirm your order and secure your place in the build schedule.

The remaining balance is divided into three further 25% installments, spread throughout the build process.

Payments are currently accepted by bank transfer.

4. Can I make changes after placing my order?

Small changes may be possible early in the process, provided work on the affected parts has not already begun.

Once materials have been ordered or construction has started, some changes may no longer be possible or may result in an additional cost.

5. Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Earthly Guitars ships worldwide.

Shipping costs depend on the destination. Any import taxes, VAT, customs duties or other fees charged by your country are the responsibility of the buyer.

6. Can I try a guitar before purchasing?

Yes. Visits to the workshop can be arranged by appointment.

For customers who cannot visit, I can provide detailed photographs, videos and sound demonstrations of available instruments.

7. What pickups and hardware do you use?

I hand-wind Earthly pickups in-house and choose each set according to the character of the guitar.

Hardware is selected from trusted manufacturers, and specific pickup or hardware requests can also be discussed as part of a custom build.

8. Do Earthly Guitars come with a warranty?

Every Earthly Guitar comes with a lifetime warranty against defects in craftsmanship.

The warranty does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, improper care, environmental damage or modifications and repairs carried out by third parties.

9. Can I return or exchange a guitar?

Because custom guitars are built specifically to the agreed specifications, custom orders are not eligible for standard returns or exchanges.

Ready-to-ship instruments may be returned within 7 days, provided they are unused and returned in their original condition. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

10. How should I care for my Earthly Guitar?

Avoid exposing the instrument to extreme changes in temperature or humidity.

Keep it clean with a soft cloth, store it safely when not in use and maintain appropriate humidity whenever possible.
